Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Athena marca 14 anos da Lei Maria da Penha<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Policiais civis cumprem hoje (13) mais de 100 mandados de pris\u00e3o de foragidos da Justi\u00e7a por crimes de viol\u00eancia contra a mulher no Rio de Janeiro. A opera\u00e7\u00e3o Athena est\u00e1 sendo coordenada pelo Departamento Geral de Pol\u00edcia de Atendimento \u00e0 Mulher (DGPAM), da Pol\u00edcia Civil do Rio, em homenagem aos 14 anos da Lei Maria da Penha.

Os mandados de pris\u00e3o foram expedidos pela Justi\u00e7a a partir de inqu\u00e9ritos policiais conclu\u00eddos por delegacias do estado, mas n\u00e3o inclui foragidos que estejam dentro de comunidades controladas por grupos criminosos armados, devido \u00e0 restri\u00e7\u00e3o de opera\u00e7\u00f5es em favelas durante a pandemia de covid-19, imposta pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF).

De acordo com a diretora do DGPAM, delegada Sandra Ornellas, somente em 2019 as delegacias de atendimento \u00e0 mulher no Rio indiciaram 16.703 suspeitos de viol\u00eancia dom\u00e9stica e familiar e solicitaram 20.930 medidas protetivas de urg\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
