O Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) confirmou nesta sexta-feira (20) que o senador Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) ser\u00e1 candidato ao governo de Minas Gerais na chapa do presidente Lula. Segundo lideran\u00e7as do partido, ele aceitou o convite. A sigla pela qual ir\u00e1 disputar a elei\u00e7\u00e3o ainda n\u00e3o foi definida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para entrar na corrida estadual, Pacheco ter\u00e1 de deixar o Partido Social Democr\u00e1tico, legenda presidida por Gilberto Kassab, que pretende lan\u00e7ar Matheus Sim\u00f5es, atual vice de Romeu Zema, ao governo mineiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ao SBT News, aliados do senador afirmam que ainda h\u00e1 di\u00e1logo em andamento e citam \u201cum processo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o e conversa\u201d, ou seja, o cen\u00e1rio n\u00e3o est\u00e1 fechado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minas Gerais \u00e9 considerado um dos principais col\u00e9gios eleitorais do pa\u00eds. Lula j\u00e1 declarou, em outras ocasi\u00f5es, que buscaria convencer o ex-presidente do Senado Federal a disputar o comando do Executivo estadual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pacheco est\u00e1 no primeiro mandato como senador por Minas, iniciado em 2019 e previsto para terminar no come\u00e7o de 2027. No per\u00edodo, comandou o Senado por dois bi\u00eanios, de 2021 a 2023 e de 2023 a 2025. Antes, foi deputado federal entre 2015 e 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
